Alan Schmiedicker
Vice-President of Asset & Property Management
Mr. Schmiedicker has more than 30 years of Retail Property Operations and Asset Management experience. Mr. Schmiedicker is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and asset management responsibilities of the company.
Before FASS, Mr. Schmiedicker was the Senior Vice President of Property Management at QIC Global Real Estate, responsible for all operational functions of the US portfolio. The portfolio consisted of over 13M sq ft with an NOI in excess of $160M, where he led a team of 150 associates. Before QIC, Mr. Schmiedicker was Senior Vice President of Forest City Realty Trust, a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Schmiedicker started as an Assistant General Manager, working his way to responsibility for a real estate portfolio of multiple uses totaling more than 25M square feet at its peak with NOI’s in excess of $390M.
In addition to Operations, Mr. Schmiedicker was responsible for Marketing, Accounts Receivable, Capital Expenses, Security, and Specialty leasing. Mr. Schmiedicker has a BA degree from Hamilton College and an MBA from The University of Phoenix. He has his Ohio Real Estate Salesperson License and is also a member of ICSC, learning the CRX designation.
